The original artwork is a 24x30” acrylic painting on a gallery thick(1.5") hand-stretched canvas.

I shot the reference image for this piece while on a trip to Algonquin Park during the summer of 2020. It was about 7:30am on Grand Lake when we were woken by our campsite's resident three-year-old and rather than go back to sleep, I pushed a canoe out into the morning mist and followed after it in another, snapping photos of the ethereal moment where the sun filtered down on the peaceful canoe.
