The screw and nail-free wood frame showcases traditional carpentry techniques in its simple construction, while the seat and backrest are locked into the frame using 90 metres of rope hand-woven using Rasmussen's own technique. The seat's low-slung, gentle incline has been designed to provide sitters with a sense of comfort and calm.
