This kit contains 20 pre-measured cartridges of 1.7 g each (42.5 mg lidocaine base + 42.5 mg prilocaine base) in a patented thermosetting micro-emulsion system that transitions from liquid at room temperature to an elastic gel at body temperature. Once dispensed sub-gingivally with the blunt-tip applicator, onset occurs in approx. 30 seconds and effective analgesia lasts ~20 minutes—enabling full-mouth debridement, quadrant-by-quadrant treatment or sensitive site work with enhanced patient comfort.

Application tips for best results:

1. Apply Oraqix gel around the gingival margin of 2–3 teeth; wait 30 seconds.
2. Insert the blunt-tip applicator into the periodontal pocket; deposit gel until visible at the gingival margin; wait another 30 seconds.
3. Begin instrumentation with ultrasonic or hand-scaling; treat up to one quadrant (or more as required, with further cartridges).
4. Monitor patient comfort; if anesthesia wears off, a second cartridge may be applied.
5. Ensure suction of excess gel; maintain standard periodontal instrumentation protocols.
