The inaugural vintage of our 'Centare' Cabernet Franc, produced from a very, very small, first season of fruit from our high density vineyard.

Fruit was destemmed into small fermenters and basket-pressed by the team to old oak barriques for malo-lactic fermentation and a few months maturation.

With less than 3 barrels (650 litres) made, the wine has been bottled without filtration to avoid any volume loss and to maintain texture and palate intensity.

The wine is beautifully dense in colour, has a lovely fresh and rich, red & blue berry flavour profile and a touch of varietal leafiness. The tannins are firm but comfortable.

We suggest trying the wine with a slight chilled - particularly for Summer enjoyment!
