The number of Watts is the energy consumption of the bulb. The number of Watts is the consumption per hour. A 60W bulb that is on for 10 hours therefore consumes 60 x 10 = 600 Watt-hours. What are lumens? Lumens are a unit of light output. The higher the number of lumens, the more light the bulb emits. This has nothing to do with the color of the light.
