Enclosed in a frame like an ancient icon or a miniature altarpiece, this solemn, bearded face emerges from the material like a stone-borne oracle. Two mechanical structures flank his head, symbolic extensions of his mind or guardians of his word. There’s something both ancestral and prophetic in him, as if he speaks from the heart of a sacred machine. The piece evokes a distant figure of authority, somewhere between a biblical patriarch and a forgotten god of metal.
