Pioneer Plastics Septic Tanks were developed in collaboration with CSIR. The Pioneer Septic Tanks are designed specifically for use in areas not served by formal sewer systems. Its low height reduces excavation and thus simplifies installation. Pioneers Septic Tanks are available in 1000Lit, 1700Lit, 2500Lit and 5000Lit. The Pioneer Plastics Septic Tanks are built with quality and expertise through collaboration with CSIR. Developed to solve sanitation issues for areas without sewer systems, these tanks boast a low profile that makes installation a breeze. With four size options, you can choose what works best for your needs.

Simple Septic Tank Installation Guide

Step 1: Prepare the Excavation

• Dig a rectangular hole with a smooth, level, and firm base.

• Spread a 50mm layer of sand or fine soil (no sharp stones) for a stable foundation.

Step 2: Position the Tank

• Place the tank onto the prepared bed and gently settle it horizontally by shifting it slightly.

• Use a spirit level on top to ensure perfect balance.

Step 3: Stabilize with Water

• Fill the tank with water (approx. 700mm deep) before backfilling to prevent distortion.

Step 4: Backfill & Connect Pipes

• Backfill up to the inlet/outlet level with stone-free soil, lightly compacting as you go.

  • Avoid excessive force—tank walls should not bend inward.

• Connect inlet and outlet pipes securely.

• Complete backfilling, ensuring even support around the tank.

Important Safety Notes:

• Maximum soil cover: 200mm above the tank (unless reinforced).

• Vehicle traffic within 2m? Reinforcement is required.

• Consult a professional for deeper installations or structural support.
