Colorfall: A radiant mandarin duck, drifts before a cascade of abstract pinks and fuchsias; an impressionistic bloom that blurs the line between flora and feeling. The background, suggestive of azaleas yet untethered from realism, evokes a dreamlike descent of velvet color—a “colorfall”—where nature and imagination intertwine. This piece invites the viewer into a moment of stillness within motion, where the vivid and the delicate coexist in harmony.

Inspiration story: Colorfall began with not a grand vision, but with a moment of artistic admiration. Among a Facebook group where photographers share their work for artists to use as free reference images, I came across a striking photo. I felt an immediate pull, admiring the velvet flow of flowers and the serene fluidity of the water. This is my artistic interpretation of that image where I felt grounded in shared creativity and artistic collaboration with someone on the other side of the world.
