The Baumer IGYX18P17B3/S14L Proximity Sensor is engineered for precise object detection with an 8 mm nominal sensing range and a quasi-flush mounting design. It ensures dependable operation in metal-rich environments and supports an assured sensing distance of 6.4 mm, even under variable temperatures.

Featuring a PNP normally open (NO) output, the sensor supports a switching frequency of 400 Hz and delivers reliable performance in real-time automation systems. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, providing safe integration into control panels and machine systems.

Built with a brass nickel-plated cylindrical housing and a durable PBT red sensing face, it withstands demanding industrial conditions. The LED red output indicator enhances visibility and diagnostics during operation. A M12 connector ensures secure and efficient wiring, while a tightening torque of up to 25 Nm offers mechanical stability.

With an IP67 protection rating, the sensor operates reliably in environments exposed to dust, moisture, and mechanical stress, and maintains performance across temperatures from -25 to +75 °C.
