Installation Notes

This charger connects directly to a standard UK 230V mains socket via the fitted BS 1363 plug. DC output connections should be made to the battery terminals using appropriately rated cable and fusing in line with the battery manufacturer's recommendations. For lithium battery installations, the correct battery preset must be configured in VictronConnect before the charger is put into service. Although the IP67 rating provides strong environmental protection, the unit should be mounted in a ventilated location where heat can dissipate. Installation in a confined sealed box without airflow is not recommended. For permanent vehicle or marine installations, a qualified auto-electrician or marine electrician should carry out the DC wiring.
