The OBDSTAR P004 Basic Kit is a set consisting of an Adapter and a jumper cable, designed for programming and cloning various ECU types. This kit allows direct connection to the control unit in BENCH and BOOT mode. The P004 is compatible with the OBDSTAR tablet series, including the Key Master DP Plus and X300 DP Plus.

The primary function of the kit is reading and writing EEPROM and FLASH data from, among others, engine control units (ECU), transmission control units (TCU), and body control modules (BCM). The included jumper cable enables connections without the need for soldering. The Adapter allows the user to activate the ECU on the workbench and read data, even when no CANbus signal is available via the vehicle's diagnostic port.
