The Butterfly Bush, a large summer flowering shrub with long scented bright white racemes from late summer to autumn. Best grown in a sunny position in a moist yet well drained soil. Can be pruned in spring to maintain shape.

• When planting this shrub in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If suitable for containers then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
