Constructed from aerospace-grade dry carbon fiber, the new SilverRocket Dry Carbon Fiber Tailgate and Lightweight Glass reduce weight by up to 20.7 lbs. compared to the OEM Cayman tailgate & wing assembly.

The SilverRocket super strong V-frame and honeycomb core are engineered to support larger wings, handling downforce levels of up to 600 kg / 1,322 lbs while maintaining exceptional stability.

The Silver Rocket Dry Carbon Tailgate is specially designed and engineered to accommodate a backward-extended (gooseneck) rear wing setup. Exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail ensure that the SilverRocket Dry Carbon Fiber Tailgate with Lightweight Glass complements the carbon fiber aesthetics pioneered by Porsche's GT4 RS Weissach Pack.

This package includes the crystal-clear SilverRocket HD lightweight polycarbonate glass, eliminating concerns about cracking the OEM rear backlight (especially the costly GT4 RS special thin rear glass). Compatible with both OEM GT4 and GT4 RS wing supports as well as Silver Rocket dry carbon fiber wing risers.

Extremely Lightweight and Beautifully Constructed

Constructed from 100% aerospace-grade dry carbon fiber, the Silver Rocket V-Frame tailgate is 6.4 kg (13.7 lbs) lighter than the stock tailgate of the GT4 RS. When combined with the SR Carbon Fiber Wing Support and SR Wing, this results in a total weight savings of 20.7 lbs at a high center-of-gravity point compared to the OEM Porsche setup.

Porsche has incorporated super-thin glass into the GT4 RS tailgate to reduce weight. However, this thin, lightweight glass is prone to cracking, even in automatic car washes. To make matters worse, the OEM tailgate glass comes with a staggering price tag of $2,600.

In response to this issue, SilverRocket has developed their own HD Lightweight Polycarbonate Glass, which is included in the Dry Carbon Fiber Tailgate package at no additional cost. This innovative solution not only reduces weight but also alleviates concerns about the fragility of the expensive GT4 RS rear glass.

Touring Version Available

In response to requests from several VIP customers, SilverRocket have designed a special Touring version of the V-Frame Dry Carbon Fiber Tailgate that eliminates the cutouts for rear wing mounts.
