This Parker Duofold Junior boxed set, comprising a fountain pen and pencil is in totally mint, unused condition throughout.

No restoration was needed as the pen had no faults or usage marks when it came to me as an unused set.  The surface is excellent with no marks and has a deep shine and a clear barrel imprint, and an unstained ink sac. the Gold trim is also pristine and the nib is straight and correctly aligned.

The chalk marks on the set are very fragile and were intended to be wiped off by the retailer, at the point of sale.  they would have disappeared rapidly as the set was handled.

The Parker No. 3 pencil is similarly pristine, the eraser shows no signs of use and the rotary mechanism is smooth and effective.

The original Parker 'Polka Dot' box is in very sound, clean condition, as is the instruction/gurantee leaflet.

The Parker Duofold Junior does not live up to its name in one respect: it is by no means a small pen.  At over 6 inches in length when posted it is a very long and elegant pen with a very good balance and feel. 

At the moment the Parker Duofold Junior is much underrated but that is sure to change, particularly for a pen in such superb condition.  It is very difficult to identify a new pen with a Gold nib of this quality and 'breeding' at anywhere near the price!
