Vachellia erioloba, also known as the giraffe thorn, mokala tree, or Kameeldoring in Afrikaans, still more commonly known as Acacia erioloba. Its preferred habitat is the deep dry sandy soils in parts of South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
