200cm EXTRA LONG Classic Studio Yoga Mat

The non-slip sticky Oeko-Tex 200cm EXTRA LONG Classic Yoga Mat comes in Purple, Dark Blue and Anthracite Grey and is a high quality yoga mat offering a good balance of cushioning and excellent grip whilst remaining easy to roll up. We have been selling this Yoga Mat since the 1980s - so for over 30 years and it remains one of our most popular, best selling Yoga Mats and was originally called 'The Ruth White Standard Yoga Mat'. Teachers and students have bought replacements recently for the original Classic / Standard Yoga Mats they  bought in the 1990s.

They are machine washable at 30C with a tiny amount of liquid detergent, but NEVER spin or put it in the tumble dryer.

Please note: with a lot of sweat or humidity the non-slip properties of the mat can be reduced because the mat does not absorb moisture as it is a closed-cell yoga mat and a film of sweat can lead to less grip on the mat. The longer these mats are used the better the grip once the initial manufacturing coating wears off.

This mat has a mesh strengthening layer running through it, which helps reduce curling at the ends and increases its durability. We have teachers who have these mats which are over 20 years old and use them on a regular basis.

The Ruth White Yoga Classic Mats are sustainably made in Europe with a Low carbon footprint to help minimize the impact of global warming. The Classic Yoga Mats are also 100% recyclable. The Classic Yoga Mats are PVC based and the material base fabric is : 79% Cotton, 21% PES Yoga Mat Coating.
