About the Artist

Leah Marie Dorion (Prince Albert, Saskatchewan) is a Métis visual artist. Her work is vibrant and infused with Metis culture. Leah’s paintings honour the spiritual strength of Aboriginal women, the Sacred Feminine. She believes women play a key role in passing on vital knowledge for all humanity, which is deeply reflected in her artistic practice.
