Product Overview

The Blue Smart IP65 range uses a fully sealed, dust and splash-proof housing that makes it practical in locations where a standard charger would be unsuitable. The 24V 13A model is well suited to larger 24V battery banks found in commercial vehicles, motorhomes, narrowboats, and off-grid cabins. At 13A, it will charge a 100Ah battery from flat to full in roughly 8 to 10 hours under normal conditions, depending on battery state and chemistry.

Bluetooth connectivity is built in as standard. Using the VictronConnect app, an installer or end user can select the correct battery profile, monitor charge status in real time, and review historical charge data. This removes the need for a separate display or data logger on straightforward single-battery installations. The app also allows the charger to be locked to a specific profile, which is useful when handing over to a non-technical end user.

The adaptive charging algorithm automatically adjusts charge time and voltage based on battery condition. A battery that is regularly discharged deeply will receive a longer absorption phase; one that is kept in good condition will move to float sooner. The storage mode reduces float voltage further to minimise electrolyte loss during long periods of inactivity.

Installation Notes
