Marble Dolphin Catfish

Only once a year are these catfish caught and exported from Colombia. The Colombian Dolphin Catfish is closely related to the marmoratus hammerhead catfish from Brazil and Peru.  Slight differences in the color pattern and dorsal fin.  With its sleek appearance, this catfish is truly a standout in any aquatic setting. They are naturally found in soft-bottomed habitats, blending seamlessly with the substrate due to their unique coloration. In terms of temperament, they are relatively peaceful and thrive best when housed with other non-aggressive species of similar size. *This particular fish is a rare gem, and AFS offers it only once per year, making it a unique addition for the discerning aquarist.
