Badges tied to specific Mongolian units are not easy to find, especially from the early post-socialist era. They tended to be made in small quantities, handed out internally, and very few ended up in the collector market. This is a good example of a scarce modern Mongolian military award with clear unit connection, and it appeals to collectors who focus on contemporary Eurasian militaria where documented, issued pieces are still relatively uncommon.
