Winsor & Newton have developed their Winton Oil Colour range to provide the highest quality oil colours at an affordable price for artists. This has been achieved by replacing some of the more costly traditional pigments with excellent modern alternatives that allow for high quality paints at a more economical price point.

The Winton Oil Colour range is ideal for those starting out with oil painting, such as students and amateur artists, but also a good option for accomplished painters who require bigger quantities of paint for large canvas work.

The Winton range has a more uniform consistency than Artists' Oil Colour and is slightly stiffer, offering excellent retention of brush and palette knife strokes and allowing artists to learn and practice oil painting techniques.
