The Voltacon BYM1000 is a 1000W micro inverter with two independent MPPT trackers for grid-connected solar installations. Each of the two panels it handles gets its own dedicated MPPT channel. Output is 230V AC at up to 96.5% peak efficiency. The IP67 enclosure is rated for outdoor installation directly behind or near the panels.

Product Overview

The BYM1000 is the two-panel version of the Voltacon micro inverter range. Each panel connects to its own MPPT input, so shading or performance variation on one panel does not affect the other. This is a practical advantage on roofs where both panels cannot always be placed in identical conditions.

The high-frequency transformer design provides galvanic isolation between the DC input and the AC output, which improves safety and reduces conducted interference on the AC side. A power factor above 0.99 and THD below 4% meet the grid quality requirements for G98 compliance in the UK.

At 2.39kg and 272.9 x 260.9 x 34.5mm, the unit is light enough to mount directly to a panel frame or rafter bracket without additional structural support.
