This sterling silver pendant features a dichroic glass cabochon that is bezel set and framed with sterling rope. It has a closed back which helps protect the beautiful cabochon and also adds substantial silver weight to the piece.  It measures just over 1 3/4” not including the bail. This pendant comes with a 16” sterling silver chain, however the bail is large enough to accommodate thicker chains if you want to swap this one out.

I generally stay away from man-made stones and gems, however dichroic glass is an exception because they really are little works of art with their eye-catching, shifting colors. They are created with metal oxides making each one unique, and have been around since the fourth century.
