The cornicello - Italian for "little horn" - is an ancient Italian amulet modeled in the shape of a devil's horn and worn to ward of the evil eye. The evil eye was believed to be mostly drawn to women and children, men's sperm, and fruit-bearing trees - the life-giving forces sustaining generations.
Very good vintage condition with wear in line with previous use.
