These are the perfect cutters if you love making faux turquoise! The housing really makes the ‘jewels’ pop!

Each set includes:

• 2 polymer clay cutters -
• Cutter one creates the housing for the faux ‘turquoise jewel’. Cutter 2 creates the faux ‘turquoise jewel’

Choose from:

• Single mirrored set
• Full Stud set that includes the stud housing and jewel cutters. 

Cutter details:

• Approx. 15mm t
• Cutting depth: ~1.5 mm (Recommended clay thickness: ~2-2.5mm)
• Made with a sharp, beveled 0.4mm edge for clean cuts and minimal cleanup

How to Use:

1. Roll your clay slab on a glossy, flat surface (a ceramic tile works great and is easily found at hardware stores).
2. Dip the housing cutter in cornstarch to prevent sticking. Dust off any excess with your finger or clay tapper.
3. Press into clay with a slight wiggle side to side, then pull straight up—try not to angle the cutter as you lift.
4. Use a soft, fluffy brush (like a makeup brush) to gently remove excess cornstarch.
5. Using the same steps, create your jewels and place them into the housings, using a small amount of liquid clay to secure the jewels to the housings. 
6. Baking times may vary by clay brand. I personally bake at 250°F for 60 minutes, but my oven runs hot! I highly recommend checking your oven’s temp with an internal thermometer for best results.

Care Instructions:

• Rinse  with warm water only
• Do not soak and avoid soap, as it can break down PLA over time
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
