Where Stage 2 fits in the KEP lineup

The Kennedy stage number scales with clamping force — each step up holds more torque but also requires more left-leg effort at the pedal. Stage 1 (1700 lb) is street-friendly. Stage 2 (this plate, 2100 lb) is the right answer for built engines that still see street miles but need more grip than Stage 1 can deliver. Stages 3 (2600 lb) and 4 (3000 lb) are progressively more competition-focused — more clamping force, harsher engagement, harder pedal effort.
