• Breathable: A cotton poly fabric blend is more breathable.  Because cotton is not synthetic, it allows for more airflow, and is an excellent choice for very warm climates. Cotton readily absorbs moisture and helps regulate your body temperature, so it’s good for year-round wear

Our 5049 series ESD jackets are made with more cotton than common polyester ESD jackets which makes the jackets more comfortable, breathable and softer.  5049 Fabric is made with 66% Polyester, 32% Cotton and 2% Carbon.

Hands Free Grounding: This ESD Jacket features an ESD knit cuff and snap on the hip pocket which allows for Hands Free Grounding. The ESD knit cuffs allow the person to ground themselves for handsfree movement.   Anti Static Wrist Straps can connect to a 4mm socket snap inside of left knit cuff  and a 4mm stud snap on left hip pocket provides a connection for the ground cord for the anti static wrist strap.

Cleaning / Washing

Machine Wash Warm. Do Not Bleach. Do Not Add Detergent or Softener. Cool Tumble Dry or Hang. Remove Promptly. Surfactants such as laundry detergent and fabric softeners can chemically break down the black carbon static shielding fabric woven into ESD smocks and lab coats. Do not add them to wash.
