Product Overview

The MultiPlus 24/500/10-16 combines inverter, charger and transfer switch functions into one unit. When an AC source such as shore power or a generator is available, the unit passes power through to connected loads and simultaneously charges the battery bank at up to 10A. When the AC source is removed or fails, the transfer switch operates in under 20 milliseconds, switching loads to inverter power without interruption to most equipment.

The PowerAssist feature is particularly useful where the available AC supply is limited, for example on a boat with a restricted shore power connection or a small generator. The MultiPlus draws additional current from the battery to supplement the AC source, preventing nuisance tripping of breakers or overloading of the supply. This allows smaller, more economical generators to be used alongside the battery bank.

VE.Bus connectivity means this unit can be configured and monitored using Victron's GX range of system controllers, including the Cerbo GX, and integrated into a wider Victron system. Multiple MultiPlus units can be connected in parallel for increased capacity, or configured for split-phase or three-phase operation.

Installation Notes
