Baumer IGYX18N17B3/L Inductive Proximity Sensor offers accurate and consistent object detection with an 8 mm sensing range in a robust, cylindrical design. Its quasi-flush mounting style supports integration into tight spaces while maintaining high sensing precision. With ±10% temperature drift compensation and 3–20% hysteresis, the sensor performs reliably across varied industrial environments.

Equipped with an NPN normally open (NO) output, this sensor supports a switching frequency of 400 Hz, suitable for high-speed applications. Its electrical protections include short circuit and reverse polarity protection, with a maximum output current of 200 mA. An LED red output indicator ensures quick operational visibility.

Constructed from nickel-plated brass housing and PBT sensing face, the sensor withstands harsh environments with an IP67 protection rating. It measures 18 mm in diameter and 50 mm in length, and includes a 2-meter cable for flexible installations. The sensor operates between -25 to +75 °C, making it ideal for demanding applications.
