Femannose N for the treatment and prevention of cystitis contains D-mannose, a molecule that allows a new approach to the treatment and prevention of acute cystitis from the age of 14. It prevents the attachment of E.Coli bacteria to the bladder and loosens those already attached. Femannose N provides 2 g of D-mannose per sachet, i.e. between 4 g and 6 g per day during the treatment period and thus allows a targeted, fast and effective action against unwanted bacteria without destroying the flora. The active substance in Femannose N is D-mannose. The advantage is that this molecule is produced in small quantities by our own organism - therefore this active substance is not foreign to it.

Operating principle:

D-mannose reaches the bladder and urinary tract via the bloodstream. D-mannose binds to and neutralizes the fimbriae of the E.coli bacteria that cause inflammation. As a result, they can no longer attach to the bladder or urinary tract wall. The neutralized bacteria are excreted in the urine.
