Our Yoga Bolsters have been made specifically for yoga practice as they provide a stable support. The Yoga Bolster is used to support the spine or head when used in some yoga postures. Ideal use for recuperative postures like Supta Baddhakonasana (Supine Cobbler pose) and restorative postures like Viparita Karani (Legs up the Wall pose). Alternatively you can place a bolster under your knees during Savasana / Mrtasana (Corpse pose) to release the pressure on your lower back.

The Bolster is filled with buckwheat hulls providing firm support which moulds to you body shape and will not break down over time. It has 100% cotton, machine washable zipped inner & outer covers (to wash the inner case you will need to empty and re-stuff the buckwheat hulls back inside). It is easy to store and carry around using its convenient handle.

Our Yoga Bolsters and Round Zafu Meditation Cushions are all filled by hand here in Oakley, Hampshire. Many of the Bolsters and Zafu Cushions sold in the UK are flown in and imported from India. These pre-filled items are large, require a lot of packaging, take up a lot of container space and use a huge amount of energy to import them. So where possible we source fillings from the UK and the EU to hand fill all our Bolsters and Round Zafu cushions to help reduce our carbon footprint.
