The cornicello - Italian for "little horn" - is an ancient Italian amulet modelled in the shape of a devil's horn and worn to ward of the evil eye. The evil eye was believed to be mostly drawn to women and children, men's sperm, and fruit-bearing trees - the life-giving forces sustaining generations.

This particular version is made of 0k gold, lightweight and textured with a smooth twisting detail.

Very good vintage condition with minor wear in line with age and use.
