This is a brand new piston replacement set for the Ford 5R55W and 5R55S transmissions.
These pistons are responsible for band and clutch apply pressure.
When they wear out, the transmission loses hydraulic pressure, causing:

• Slipping when accelerating
• Harsh or delayed shifts
• Shift flare between gears
• Harsh downshifts or clunk
• Overdrive not engaging

If the transmission is being rebuilt, these pistons MUST be replaced to restore proper operation.
