These vibrant, flower-shaped glass rods are designed to be cut into murrine/millifiori slices and incorporated into your fused glass or mosaic work. For best results, tack fuse at a lower temperature to preserve the crisp flower shape and let each murrine stand above the surface.

Made of Bullseye COE 90 glass and compatible with other COE 90 glasses. Each bag contains seven murrine sticks. Each stick is 2 inches long, ready to be cut to your desired thickness with glass nippers. Exact weight varies (approximately 0.75oz). Each batch of Murrine Sticks are hand-pulled, so variations in color, thickness, and petal depth are part of their charm.

How to Cut Murrine Sticks with wheeled blade glass cutters:

• Be sure to wear eye protection when cutting glass.
• Sharper blades work better. If your blades are dull, rotate them to engage sharper edges.
• Use a container to catch the flying pieces.
• Lightly grab the Murrine stick with the cutting blades to hold position, then snap quickly to cut. Slowly increasing pressure can crush the glass instead of cutting it.
• Letting a finger on your left hand press against the lower blade (away from the cutting edge) can help to steady your hands, allowing you to cut more precisely and quickly. (See left hand in video).
