The Rab Women's Torque Pants are women's versions of the iconic Rab Torque Pants. Close fitting, stretchy softshell pants primarily designed for Alpine climbing, long rock routes or summer mountaineering, they can equally be at home out walking in the UK hills and mountains. Durable Matrix Double Weave Stretch fabric is used for the main body of the pants with Matrix Single Weave Stretch in articulation zones such as the knees. Matrix fabric is a membrane-free stretch nylon, meaning it is very light and breathable but still has a good degree of weather resistance as the fabric is also DWR treated.

The waist is elasticated with a shock cord adjustment making it low volume under harnesses and packs and it is also fast wicking for enhancing wearer comfort. The knees and kick patches are reinforced to help combat wear against rock and crampon use. For stashing topos and snacks there are two zipped front pockets and a single zipped rear pocket. The expanding zipped lower legs accommodate larger boots or can be closed when using approach or rock shoes. The hems also feature webbing loops that under boot cords can be attached to.
