Mumbai is the most amazing and rare beautiful cotton midi skirt by Monsoon. She dates from the mid-late 70s and is made in India. Like all early Monsoon pieces, Mumbai is BEAUTIFULLY crafted, made with a stunning quality cotton and has the most gorgeous chunky detailed hand embroidery around her hem. She also has little mirror placements which really are so beautiful. She has a super full sweep and a deep waistband. Her colours are rich and vibrant, it almost seems like she has barely been worn. This is most certainly up there with my favourite skirts ever, and she really does give off that free spirited vibe of the 70s.

Mumbai has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home. She is in good condition with a few minor signs of wear, including a couple of really faint unnoticeable marks. 

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
