Harvesting by hand. No fining; very light filtering. This fairly shallow (20–30 cm) red clay lying directly on the bedrock in the continuation of “Clos des Chênes” produces a very delicate wine. Young, it is redolent of blackcurrant or violet notes. Its elegance and tannin structure make this wine a good candidate for cellaring. It is a delicious, voluptuous wine.
